Yesterday afternoon, as the Railway train from Niagra Falls was approaching this city, the locomotive came in contact with some cows that were strolling on the track, and was thrown off the rails with considerable violence, twisting rails and sleepers and everything out of their proper shapes and places. The engine, if not a wreck, is seriously injured, three cows were killed on the spot, and we regret to say the fireman in attempting to escape the collision had both his legs broken — Hamilton Canadian.
