Port Huron and Lake Michigan Railroad
We understand that W. Lawson, Esq., Assistant Engineer on the Grand Trunk Railway, with a party of assistants, have
commenced a re-survey of the line of the Port Huron and Lake Michigan Railroad. “beginning at the village of Lyons,
and running thence to Grand Haven.” Further,”that Messrs. Gzowski & Co., that they will construct and equip the
entire road ready for business within two years of the time when the capital stock will be increased to an amount
sufficient to cover necessary outlay, viz: $8,000,000.”
