Mooretown Station
The Mooretown station was originally located along the present day CSX line that runs along the river through from Lake Erie to Sarnia. The station is now located at the Moore Museum along with a Canadian National Caboose and a C&O speeder. This station was a Pere Marquette station for about forty five years before being taken over by C&O. The Museum is a excellent destination for anyone looking to do a day trip. There are some very interesting exhibits and buildings to see.

Sarnia Observer April 28, 1893
The Erie and Huron Railway opened it’s new station in Mooretown in the middle of April and intend to move the platform from the Whitney Hotel. It is that during the summer they will take their excursionists to Sarnia thence Stag Island and return via Mooretownm thus giving their patrons a great round trip. No doubt such a route will be popular. Everything here indicates a boom this year.
