Great Western Railway
We are happy to learn that the Eastern section of this Railway, that is, from the Niagara Suspension Bridge to Hamilton, is yielding a profitable business, and that passengers are highly satisfied with the attention paid to their comfort by the other’s of the Company. It was evidently expected that the whole line from Hamilton to London would have been completed by the first instant, but in consequence of disappointment in the arrival of Railway iron, for the track in this vicinity, we learn
that the opening of this part of the Road is unavoidably delayed, until the the 14th instant, when, we have no doubt from the quantity of teams engaged in forwarding the rails during yesterday and the day previous, together with the rarely equalled exertions made by the spirited contractors, we shall see the Directors of the Company with a Special Train passing our Town, from Hamilton on route for
London. B. American
