Built by Grand Trunk Railway near the eastern portal to the St. Clair Tunnel. This is now a Via Station.

Wallaceburg Station

This train station is supposed to be restored. The station is a former station of Erie and Huron, Pere Marquette and C&O Railways. I have no information on the status of this station. I will update as it becomes available to me. I hope the people involved get the support they need for the restoration of this station.

Oil Springs Station

Oil Springs train station was moved to it’s present location at the Oil museum at Oil Springs It is a former Canada Southern, New York Central, Michigan Central station.

Mooretown Station

The Mooretown station was originally located along the present day CSX line that runs along the river through from Lake Erie to Sarnia. The station is now located at the Moore Museum along with a Canadian National Caboose and a C&O speeder. This station was a Pere Marquette station for about forty five years before being taken over by C&O. The Museum is a excellent destination for anyone looking to do a day trip. There are some very interesting exhibits and buildings to see.

Courtright Station, Canada Southern, New York Central, Michigan Central Railroad

I acquired a few photograph’s from John Riley that he had taken of the station in the 1960′s in order to build an HO scale model. Those of us interested in the railroads are fortunate that people like John have taken these photograph’s and given us a glimpse of what railroads were like in the past.I remember this station from when I was a child. The station was a turned into a location for a ferry crossing for automobiles. Our family had crossed there a few times to visit realitives state-side before it was closed down.
